Adapting to environmental change requires a human-centered approach to protecting and restoring nature in ways that honor individual, ecological, and community wellbeing. This is especially true in our home base of coastal North Carolina, where climate hazards, economic challenges, and social vulnerabilities converge and opportunities for collaboration abound.
